Terms of Service

Agreement
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and 4Eyed Development LLC ("we", "us" or "our") covering the MyVoice app and website ("MyVoice"). By creating an account or using MyVoice, you accept these Terms. If you do not accept these Terms, you may not use MyVoice.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data and forms part of these Terms.
Eligibility and your account
You must be at least 13 years old to use MyVoice. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use MyVoice only with the consent of a parent or legal guardian, who agrees to these Terms on your behalf.
You are responsible for your account and for keeping your password secure. Tell us promptly if you believe someone else has access to your account.
Not medical advice
MyVoice is a journaling and self-reflection tool. It is not a medical device, and it does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any condition.
Mood readings, patterns, summaries and suggestions in MyVoice are generated automatically by software, including AI, from your own writing. They can be wrong. They are not a clinical assessment and must not be relied on as one. Nothing in MyVoice replaces advice from a qualified health professional.
If you are in crisis or thinking about harming yourself, contact your local emergency services or a crisis line. In the United States, you can call or text 988.
Your content
You own the content you create in MyVoice. We claim no ownership of it.
You grant us a limited license to store your content, sync it between your devices, and process it, including through AI Processing as described in the Privacy Policy, solely to provide MyVoice to you. This license ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies kept as the Privacy Policy describes.
Acceptable use

Do not use MyVoice to break the law or to store material you have no right to hold.
•
Do not attack, overload or interfere with our systems, or attempt to access another person’s account.
•
Do not use Nudge or invite links to harass, pressure or spam anyone.
•
Do not abuse the referral program, for example by inviting yourself.
•
Do not resell or redistribute MyVoice.
We may remove a Nudge connection, disable a feature for your account, withhold or reverse referral rewards, or suspend or close your account if you break these rules.
Scribe subscriptions
MyVoice is free to use. Scribe is an optional paid subscription that adds features.
•
Web purchases are billed by Stripe. A subscription renews automatically until canceled. You can cancel or change it from the billing portal linked in the app.

Purchases inside the iOS or Android app are billed by Apple or Google under their terms. A subscription renews automatically until canceled in that store’s subscription settings. We cannot cancel it for you.

Prices are shown before you buy. If we change the price of an existing subscription, we will notify you in advance, and you can cancel before the new price applies.

Refunds for purchases made through Apple or Google are handled under that store’s refund policy. For web purchases, contact us.
•
Deleting your account cancels a web subscription immediately. It does not cancel a subscription purchased through Apple or Google; cancel that in the store’s subscription settings first.
If a subscription ends, your account returns to the free tier. Your content is not deleted and remains available to export.
Referral program

A person who signs up through your invite link and confirms their email address receives 30 days of Scribe.
•
When that person also writes on 3 different days, you receive 90 days of Scribe. You can earn up to one year of Scribe this way in any 12 months.
•
Rewards add to any Scribe time you already have. If you pay for Scribe on the web, your next charge moves later by the reward period.
•
Rewards have no cash value and cannot be transferred.
•
Each email address can be rewarded as an invited person only once.
•
We may change or end the referral program at any time. Rewards already granted are not affected, except where they were obtained by abuse.
Availability, changes and termination
We aim to keep MyVoice available and your data intact, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. We may add, change or remove features. If a change materially reduces what a paid subscription provides, you may cancel, and we will refund the unused part of the current term for purchases we billed directly.
You may end these Terms at any time by deleting your account. We may end these Terms, or suspend your account, if you materially breach them. If we suspend or close your account, we will give you a reasonable opportunity to export your content first, unless the law or a serious security risk prevents it.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
MyVoice is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all implied warranties, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim relating to MyVoice is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or fifty US dollars. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for loss of data beyond our duty to take reasonable care.
Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits. Where that is the case, they apply only to the extent the law permits. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Colorado, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Nothing in these Terms removes the protection of mandatory consumer law where you live.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. If a change is material, we will notify you in the app before it takes effect. If you continue to use MyVoice after that, you accept the updated Terms. If you do not accept them, you can delete your account.
